“Some days only happen once. I’ve never forgotten what that means.”
-TYler Boye, CHARLESTON Wedding PhotograpHER
In Charleston, love stories almost write themselves. The ancient oak alleys of Middleton Place. The Cotton Dock at Boone Hall, winding tidal creeks, swaying marsh grass, and a Lowcountry dusk almost too beautiful to be real. The Federal-era rooms of Aiken-Rhett House. The moss-laden oaks and crystal lagoons of Legare Waring House within the historic grounds of Charles Towne Landing. The Cooper with its golden sunsets over the Ashley River, the grand lawns of Lowndes Grove; Charleston's last great waterfront estate, circa-1786. And out on Johns Island, The Dunlin, along the Kiawah River, effortless Lowcountry luxury.
The Holy City is the number one wedding destination in the US for good reason; over 400 churches and houses of worship line these oak-shaded streets where dappled light streams through Spanish moss. Our storied cobblestone streets have been creating love stories for over 350 years, and it would be my honor to tell yours.

The Part That Never Gets Old
Meet Tyler Boye
A life spent chasing great images led me from fashion sets and celebrity portraits in Los Angeles to my first wedding.
That was 25 years and a thousand love stories ago. I have never looked back.
The images that last are never the carefully staged ones. They are the ones where two people forgot anyone else was in the room, especially me. That moment, the one that was never on any shot list, is the reason I do this.
Every couple has a story that is entirely their own and I would love to hear yours.
Chelsea & Matt
Brigantine beach at the Jersey Shore
Some engagement sessions really unfold so easily. For Chelsea and Matt's shoot, our location couldn't have been more spectacular — a gorgeous waterfront home in Brigantine. This Jersey Shore spot holds real meaning for them. Nothing felt overthought; just simple elegance and an abundance of connection.
Some of Our Favorite Days, Recently Wrapped
Melissa & Logan
the Horticulture Center Philadelphia
Some weddings simply have it all. Melissa and Logan's day at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center was one of them — matching pajamas for the bridesmaids, a show-stopping gown, sweet babies stealing scenes, and one of Philadelphia's most stunning venues as the backdrop. But the love they share is what really made this love story so beautiful to capture.
